Where will you work/intern?
- If you already have a placement, great! If not, Accepted students have until August 12, 2022 to find a placement and complete all Intake Documents.
- If you do not yet have a placement to consider, check out the resources here!
When is orientation?
Parent/Student General Orientation - Thursday, May 19, 6:00-7:00 pm - for first-year interns.
- You will hear from current students, learn tips on how to find a great placement, and will get general information about what you need to know this summer.
- The orientation event will be at the beautiful new Forsyth County Arts and Learning Center (FoCAL). Here is the address link: https://www.forsyth.k12.ga.us/focal

AAI Student Internship/Mentorship Course Orientation - All Interns!
- Where: AAI Cafeteria
- When: Tuesday, August 2, 9:00-10:00 am
- Who: ALL 2022-2023 AAI Interns
- What: We will go over 2022-2023 course assignments/paperwork/requirements.
What to do during summer break?
- Emails: Check your email frequently to see if there is information from your Career Development Coordinator or businesses.
- Remind Texts: Make sure you have registered for Remind texts from your Career Development Coordinator.
What to do as the 2022-2023 year school begins?
- School Schedules: Make sure your schedule looks correct and includes your internship/mentorship period or periods.
- Beginning of Year Mandatory Student Orientation: See Above - Tuesday, August 2, 9:00-10:00 am
- Placement Timeline:
- You will have until August 12, 2022 to obtain an Internship/Mentorship placement.
- Students not placed at that time will have their schedules changed to remove the these periods.
